About Firefly

Firefly is the first derivatives exchange on Polkadot. We're building a community-governed protocol that provides traders a more transparent, performant and familiar experience. Firefly's technology stack enables leveraged perpetuals and options trading with on-chain settlement, removing all custodial and counterparty risk. The protocol governance can add trading pairs for any derivative in any asset class.

This role will require you to represent Firefly and coordinate efforts over the next six months at the Web 3.0 Bootcamp by the Wanxiang Group. You will also be work with Firefly's strategic partners in Asia to help bootstrap Firefly's presence in Greater China, spearheading community growth, strategic partnerships and awareness programs.

Your Impact

  • Engage, grow, and activate the Firefly Chinese community through creative campaigns and content
  • Spearhead community strategy, development and growth in Greater China
  • Engage with journalists, media, and promoters to create campaigns and grow our presence throughout online and offline communities
  • Work with key partners such as Parity / Web3 Foundation on joint initiatives and collaborations.
  • Host meetups, events, and AMAs to build Firefly awareness and community engagement, both online and offline
  • Develop a deep technical understanding of Firefly’s mechanisms

Requirements

  • Must be a clear and concise business and technical writer
  • 2-5 years of experience with the Asian crypto market, particularly focused on Mainland China
  • Native Mandarin; fluent English
  • Willingness and curiosity to understand main protocols in DeFi
  • Self-directed learner, able to keep up with new developments in blockchain and marketing
  • Ability to thrive in an environment of continuous change and complexity
